The city and port of Mazatlán is internationally known as a very popular tourist and fishing port. In the area you can find a huge diversity of tours; bird watching, nature, rural and picture; great colonial villages with red roof tiles and wide adobe walls are very typical of the region. You can also find roots in the almost extinct forest that are studied for their medicinal characteristics and of course there is a big diversity of water activities and ecotourism. Once in Mazatlan the visitor can go to many villages and small towns, like Concordia, Copala, Pánuco, El Rosario, Villa Unión, El Quelite, and many more, located along the rivers shore that cross the entire state that have the characteristic of being very colorful and with a lot of rural activities that people can make, like:
